Mount Vernon Municipal Court's MERIT Drug Court program advances four people

MOUNT VERNON – Over the past month, the Mount Vernon Municipal Court has seen the following four individuals advance through its Mandated Education and Referral into Treatment (MERIT) Drug Court program:

  • Sierra Zedaker moved up to Phase II of the program on April 21. She successfully completed all of the Phase I requirements and has maintained continuous sobriety. She received her certificate from MERIT Court Coordinator Joel Carter. Congratulations, Sierra!
  • Jessica McElroy moved up to Phase III of the program on April 14 after successfully completing all of the requirements of Phase II. She is maintaining a full-time job in addition to her participation in MERIT Court. Probation Officer and MERIT Court Coordinator Joel Carter congratulated McElroy on her accomplishments. Congratulations, Jessica!
  • Brittany Wheeler graduated into Phase IV of the program on April 8. She received a certificate from MERIT Court Coordinator Joel Carter for successfully completing all of the requirements of MERIT Court. Congratulations, Brittany!
  • Robert Schaade successfully completed all of the requirements of Phase I of the MERIT Drug Court program on March 31. MERIT Court Coordinator Joel Carter congratulated him on the accomplishment. Congratulations, Robert!
