ONTARIO – The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of three scholarships for individuals pursuing higher education or classes benefitting the field of aging. These scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions of our sponsors at the annual meeting of the Area Agency on Aging each year.
Scholarship award amounts as determined by the board of trustees for the academic year of 2021/2022:
One (1) $2,000 for a student attending a 4-year university;
One (1) $1,000 for a student attending a 2-year college or technical school;
One (1) $1,000 for a student attending any type of higher institute of learning.
