FRAZEYSBURG – A private family service was held for Stephen L. Ryan, 49, of Frazeysburg, who passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 28, 1971, in Mount Vernon.
Stephen was currently employed for 21 years with TS Tech in Reynoldsburg, serving as a materials team leader. He was a former member of the Army National Guard, trained as a cannonier. He studied business and accounting at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kelly J. (Blubaugh) Ryan; sons, Austin L. (Brianna Evans) Ryan and Cody M. Ryan; mother and step-father, Deborah (Jeffrey) Cunningham; brother, Todd (Tracey) Ryan; step-sister, Kimberly Cunningham; half-brother, Christopher (Jasmine) Cunningham of Howard; many nieces and nephews; extended family, mother-in-law, Betty Rodriguez of Newark; and sisters, Tabitha Rodriguez and Teresa Rodriguez.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Ryan; daughter, Shania C. Ryan; grandparents, George (Opal) Ryan and Albert (Carrie) Bodnar; great-grandmothers, Lovie Stringfellow and Anna Bodnar; aunt, Judy Ryan; uncle, Timothy Ryan; step-brother, Jeffrey Cunningham; and half-brother, Mark Cunningham.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Licking County Humane Society or the Wounded Warrior Program.
