Overnight, Knox County along with the rest of Central Ohio received the first blanket of snow and ice of the season. The Mount Vernon Public Square was snow covered and icy this morning. A few rural schools were on a two-hour delay as slick roads and bitter cold made travel difficult. It will be below freezing most of the day. [request]
