MOUNT VERNON — Joseph A. Roman Sr., 47, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, at his residence. He was born June 22, 1972, in Queens, New York, the son of Elias Roman Sr. and Kathy (Deni) Roman.
He is survived by his father; his children, Kayla (Logun) Crawshaw of Strasburg, Kimberly Roman of New Albany and Joseph Roman Jr. of Mount Vernon; a granddaughter, Reece Crawshaw; siblings, Elias Roman Jr., Lisamarie Rykowski, Tina Roman, Maria Roman-Vega, Sandra Roman-Iber, Alondra Roman and Kenneth Roman.
Joseph was preceded in death by his mother.
The family will observe private services.
