MOUNT VERNON — Virginia K. Beeman Calbert, 65, of Mount Vernon passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019.
She was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Mount Vernon to the late Edward and Bonnie (Stevens) Beeman. Virginia enjoyed watching crime shows, reading crime novels, camping and fishing. But most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family and her canine companions.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Christina Almstedt; her son Jayson (Sara) Tonelli; step-sons Robert (Melissa) Calbert, Chris (Cassie) Calbert, Pat (Daisy) Calbert; eighteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sisters, Margie Graves, Diana (Ron) Huffman; and her canine companion Miracle.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Edwin Calbert; her brother, Phil Beeman; and her canine companions, Angel, Princess and Tosha.
In keeping with Virginia’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will have a memorial service at a date to be announced.
