MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Humane Society Cat Shelter is hosting a seminar on Trap, Neuter, Return/Release Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, 501 South Main St., Mount Vernon.
Trap, Neuter, Return/Release, along with Return to Field, are a critical part of managing community/feral cat populations. Steph and Will Smith of Feral Mountain have had success implementing these strategies in their community of Warsaw. In this seminar they will share those success stories, what they did and how the people of Knox County can do it, too.
Space is limited! Please call 740-392-2287 to reserve a seat.
Feral Mountain is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to decreasing the community cat population and improving the lives of those cats through TNR. Steph Smith is a certified TNR instructor.
