MOUNT VERNON — Ruth Eloise Ermlich, 70, of Mount Vernon, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.
Ruth was born Dec. 28, 1948, in Queens, New York, to Ferdinand and Lillian (Perrin) Ermlich.
She worked for many years for the Ohio Department of Transportation. Ruth loved cooking, crafts, sewing, drawing, and making doll houses. She loved her dog Lilly.
Ruth will be deeply missed by her significant other, Grant Looney; her dear friend, Paul Githens; children, Mark Beasley, Allison (Jeff Wineberg) Beasley and Jenny Beasley; stepchildren Cody, Alexis, and Hunter; grandchildren, Storie, Marlen, and Leroy; niece, Judy McMahon; nephews, Gary Winterstein, Paul Winterstein, Carl Winterstein, Paul Ermlich, Patrick Ermlich, and Frank Coleman; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, friends, and acquaintances.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred Ermlich and James Wallace; and sister, Maryann Winterstein.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home with Deacon Tim Birie officiating. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
