Attorney Ann Roche fears a potential uptick in homelessness in Knox County after the Supreme Court’s recent decision to end the government’s COVID-19 eviction moratorium during the pandemic.

This year, United Way of Knox County is hosting a Poverty Simulation on the morning of Thursday, Oct. 21, at The Glenn A. Gallagher Centre. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m., and the simulation will take place from 9-11:30 a.m.

United Way of Knox County has hired Kyla Brayshaw, an Ashland University graduate, as its new program director, according to a press release.
