The application process for Frasier Solar reached a new stage this month after the Ohio Power Sighting Board held its last formal meeting on August 19.

Matt Schilling, Director of the Office of Public Affairs for the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) said rumors that no voting members will be present at the April 4 OPSB hearing concerning the Frasier Solar Project are incorrect.

Utica's volunteer fire department received a $5,990 state grant to provide hazmat training to 48 personnel on Aug. 9. Utica's grant was part of an $800,000 distribution to 21 Ohio agencies, a press release reported.
