Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 6, local residents who lack transportation will find it a little bit easier to get to several popular locations in Mount Vernon – for free.

Knox Area Transportation will have donation boxes in support of Food For The Hungry on their buses from now until Dec. 10.

Knox Area Transit recently recognized driver Kim Weiss with a commendation for his lifesaving efforts and exemplary public service.
