Returning to action for the first time since the fall, the Kenyon College men’s and women’s tennis teams were prefect and both squads dominated the DePauw University Tigers, 9-0, during play Sunday, Feb. 6, in the Jasper Tennis Center. The Ladies, ranked first in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) preseason poll, started the romp with the doubles team of Eleni Dakos and Anna Winslow winning 8-1.
Lisa Schott to retire as managing director of the Philander Chase Conservancy

Every journey to Kenyon, characterized by the approach to Gambier Hill through unspoiled rural and agricultural landscapes, owes its signature natural beauty in no small part to Lisa Schott, who since 2010 has served as managing director of the College’s land trust, the Philander Chase Conservancy (PCC). On June 30, 2022, Schott will step down from that position after a nearly 40-year career with Kenyon.

Zavaleta breaks records for Lords, but Kenyon swimmers swept by RedHawks

Coming off a pair of dual wins against Case Western Reserve University and Ohio Northern University, the Kenyon College men’s swimming and diving team traveled to Athens, Ohio to take on Division I Miami (OH) University. The Lords suffered their first dual loss of the season, falling to the RedHawks 183-117, and the Ladies lost their first dual meet of the year, 182.5-117.5. The Lords posted seven individual wins against Miami (OH) highlighted by Israel Zavaleta breaking his own school records in the one- and three-meter diving.
