City of Findlay

The Findlay and Northwest Ohio public is invited to attend a special screening of the 45-minute, award-winning documentary, "Activismo: Art and Dissidence in Cuba," on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Alexandria' 's, 132 E. Crawford St., in Findlay. Organized by co-directors/producers Philip Sugden and Carole Elchert, the film features Cuban artists who use art as a form of activism and civic engagement for social change in Cuba.

Miriam Ruth King, 96, of Findlay, formerly of Akron and Howard (Apple Valley), passed away on Nov. 11, 2020, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Findlay.
