Twenty-one members of the East Knox FFA attended the 98th annual National FFA Convention from October 29 to November 1, 2025. The event took place at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis Convention Center, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Attendees participated in sessions, received awards, listened to motivational speakers, attended workshops, and went on tours.

The opening session featured the National FFA Officers. A’ric Jackson, a prominent leadership speaker known for inspiring audiences to pursue their goals and dreams, delivered the keynote address. The convention also included retiring addresses from National FFA Officers like National Secretary Luke Jennings from Ohio.

On November 1, Trey Meyers from Oklahoma was elected as the new National President for 2025-2026 during the final session. Besides attending convention sessions and a trade show, East Knox FFA members enjoyed an Ella Langley concert at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and the Three Hills Rodeo at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The East Knox FFA's state-winning Forestry team competed at Morgan-Monroe State Forest and placed 14th nationally. Their Nursery/Landscape team also represented Ohio in a national career development event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and finished 18th nationally.

This year's convention set a new attendance record with over 73,000 participants including FFA members, parents, and guests. The event aligns with the National FFA Mission Statement to foster leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
