Northridge Falls to Johnstown-Monroe in Tough Road Loss, 51–15 | Northridge Vikings School District/fb

Johnstown-Monroe High School's football team triumphed over Northridge with a decisive 51–15 victory in a Licking County League matchup on Friday night. The game took place on October 3, 2025, at Johnstown-Monroe High School in Johnstown, Ohio.

Despite the final score, Northridge demonstrated moments of resilience during the contest. According to reports, the Vikings kept the game competitive early on when their offense responded to Johnstown’s opening touchdown with a strong scoring drive. Quarterback Eli Rogers connected with wide receiver Mason Hartman for a crucial first-down conversion that set up a goal-line push late in the first quarter. However, Johnstown’s powerful ground game eventually wore down the Northridge defense, allowing them to pull away with several long scoring drives in the second half.

Looking ahead, Northridge will return home to face Zanesville on October 10 at 7 p.m., while Johnstown-Monroe is scheduled to travel to Newark Catholic on October 17 for another conference matchup at 7 p.m.

The last encounter between these two teams saw Northridge narrowly defeat Johnstown-Monroe 29–28 in an overtime thriller, marking one of the Vikings’ most memorable victories of the 2024 season. They aim to recapture that spark as they seek to bounce back strongly in front of their home crowd next week.
