CES Credit Union is set to host its third annual Concert Night for the Community on September 13 at the Schnormeier Event Center in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The event will feature performances by regional bands McGuffey Lane and Allison Road and is free for the public.

Allison Road, a band from Springfield, Ohio, will open the evening at 6:30 p.m. Known for their mix of country, rock, classic rock, and pop music, they bring original songs inspired by frontwoman Alli Sarven's real-life experiences. Since forming in 2012, Allison Road has performed alongside artists like Lainey Carter and Deana Carter and has won several local music competitions.

At 8 p.m., McGuffey Lane will take the stage. This band has been popular in the Midwest for decades and includes original members John Schwab, Terry Efaw, and Steve Reis. They are recognized for their musicianship and vocal harmonies. McGuffey Lane has shared stages with well-known acts such as The Allman Brothers Band and The Judds.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the concert comfortably. Food trucks offering various cuisines will be available on-site. However, alcohol will not be served at this event.

Sandy Coffing, CEO of CES Credit Union, expressed gratitude towards the community: "For the third year now, we are giving back to our community by bringing two of the top regional bands here to perform. Our concerts are free for everyone to attend and have become a new annual tradition."

CES Credit Union was established in Mount Vernon in 1952 as a not-for-profit financial cooperative serving eight counties in Ohio with multiple service centers.
