Knox County Indivisible is organizing a Town Hall meeting on August 23, 2025, in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The event will focus on issues affecting veterans and the community in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District. Representative Troy Balderson was invited to participate but has declined the invitation.

Meg Galipault, founder of Knox County Indivisible, said, "We believe it’s vital for our elected officials to hear directly from the people they represent. Even without Rep. Balderson, we are moving forward to give our community the opportunity to speak up, ask questions, and be heard."

The Town Hall will feature several guest speakers: Jerrad Christian, a U.S. Navy veteran and former congressional candidate; Ken Harbaugh, former President of Team Rubicon and also a former congressional candidate; and Mason Blankenship, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran affiliated with Save A Warrior who is running for the Ohio House.

Seating at the event is limited and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents of Knox County are encouraged to register early. The event will take place from 2 PM to 4 PM EDT in Mount Vernon. Registration details can be found online.

For those unable to attend in person, the Town Hall will be streamed live on Facebook with streaming details available closer to the date.
