North Fork Local Schools has announced that Mark McDaniel will be inducted into the North Fork Hall of Honors.

The Hall of Honors, established in 2003 by North Fork Local Schools, aims to recognize individuals such as distinguished graduates, former staff, and community members whose accomplishments have significantly impacted the district's reputation. Inductees are selected through a nomination and review process conducted by a selection committee. The twenty-first annual induction ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, in the Utica High School cafeteria. The event is open to the public.

According to North Fork Local Schools, the North Fork Local School District, also known as Utica, spans more than 133 square miles across northern Licking County and southern Knox County. It encompasses the townships of Burlington, Clay, Eden, Mary Ann, McKean, Morgan, Newton, and Washington. The district's vision focuses on providing achievement and accountability that maximizes quality learning. Its mission involves collaboration among employees, parents, and community partners to ensure each student can learn at a pace consistent with their ability while working toward responsible citizenship and mastering lifelong learning skills.

The district comprises Utica High School, Utica Middle School, Newton Elementary, and Utica Elementary. It serves over 1,656 students with approximately 200 staff members employed across the district to support their education. According to North Fork Local Schools, the district aims to maintain an environment that facilitates academic progress and skill development within the communities it serves.
