The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County has announced the 2025 Gambier Community Library Summer Reading Program, titled "Color Our World," which will run from June 2 to July 9, 2025.
According to the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, the Gambier Community Library will host its 2025 Summer Reading Program from June 2 to July 9. The program is open to all ages, with participants able to register at the library starting June 2 to receive a welcome bag. This free initiative includes reading challenges, crafts, contests, and special events for children, teens, and adults, offering opportunities to win prizes.
Adult participants have the chance to win tickets for four to Otherworld in Columbus or gift cards from local Gambier businesses. Teens in grades 6-12 may win a digital drawing pad or passes for four to Mohican Adventure Fun in Loudonville. Children who complete reading logs will be entered into a draw for family memberships to the Columbus Zoo or creative art kits.
The Gambier Community Library is part of the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County system, serving the Gambier area with various resources and programs. Located at 115 Meadow Lane, it operates Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while remaining closed on Sundays.
