Two local artists will be showcasing their work at the Paragraphs Bookstore. Author Sarah Gabric and illustrator Lani Edwards will be at 229 S. Main St. Mount Vernon, OH 43050 for a storytime and book signing event.
The Paragraphs Bookstore will be hosting the event on Saturday, March 22, starting at 10:30 a.m.
"We are excited to be hosting local author and illustrator Sarah Gabric & Lani Edwards!" Paragraphs Bookstore stated on its website. "Lani's art inspired Sarah to write a story... and so Far, Far Afar was born!"
Gabric, author of Far, Far Afar, is also a licensed professional clinical counselor. The book’s illustrator, Edwards, embraces the transformative power of art to inspire connection.
Paragraphs Bookstore proudly carries forward the legacy of a downtown bookstore, a cherished tradition that first took root in Mount Vernon in 1996. Committed to fostering a love for reading, it offers a welcoming space for book lovers of all ages. The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The booksellers represent a diverse array of backgrounds, including retired teachers, both undergraduate and graduate students, parents, and active members of the community.
