Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon has announced its annual Chili Supper, scheduled for Tuesday, April 9. The event invites the community to enjoy chili while supporting a charitable cause, as detailed in a press release.
The supper will take place from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Wendy’s, located at 522 S Main St, Mt. Vernon, Ohio. For $6, attendees can enjoy unlimited chili, a baked potato, and a drink. According to the press release, all proceeds from the event will support initiatives benefiting children in Knox County by funding essential programs and community projects. Tickets will be available for purchase in early March through local Kiwanis members and at the door on the day of the event.
"We are thrilled to bring the community together for a delicious meal and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of local children," said Debbie Ruggles, President of the Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon. "Every bowl of chili enjoyed at this event contributes to meaningful programs that support youth in our area."
