Wednesdays are dedicated for aspiring teenage writers. Teens aged 13 to 19 with a passion for writing are invited to join the Teen Writing Program.
The classes will be held on March 19 and 26 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Solarium at Mount Vernon Library located at 201 N. Mulberry St, Mount Vernon.
Writing fiction, poetry, memoir are among the literary pieces that will be experienced by the attendees. Interested teenagers do not need to have prior experience in writing to join. This program will help enhance skills, boost creativity and express thoughts effectively.
In case you will miss the two classes this March, there are four more sessions in April. It would be all Wednesdays of that month except for the last one which is April 30. Supplies and snacks will be provided during the sessions.
