Ben Earl Bryant, 74, of Centerburg, Ohio, passed away on Jan. 22, 2025, at home, surrounded by family. 

Born Dec. 8, 1950, in Deer Creek, Indiana, on his grandfather's farm, Ben was married to his wife, Dava, for 52 years.


He enjoyed coaching tee-ball, raising hogs for 4-H, and hunting. 

Ben loved spending time with his grandchildren—Megan, Garrett, Rylee, Hagen, and Taylor—whether raising chickens, golfing, hunting, or fishing in the Florida Keys; he also cherished trips to the hunting cabin in Indiana.


After a dedicated career, Ben retired from Anheuser-Busch. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Bryant; birth mother, Phyllis Bryant; mother who raised him, Carol Woicinski; sister, Vicky (Norman) Spellman; and grandson, baby Phil. 

Surviving are his wife, Dava; sons, Phillip (Joanna) and Joshua (Joslyn); sister, Freida Bryant; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Feb. 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Fuller Center, Centerburg Christian Church, 33 Church Street, in Centerburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
