Members are needed for the Coshocton Community Choir | Coshocton Community Choir

The Coshocton Community Choir, which has members from across the state of Ohio, is holding adult auditions for its spring season.

"We have openings in our 100-voice choir in all sections (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass), but we especially need second bases, tenors and first sopranos," said Charles R. Snyder, Coshocton Community Choir, founder and conductor.

Those interested can schedule an audition appointment by calling the choir office at: 740.623.0554. If there is no answer, leave a message with your name and phone number; a prepared song is not required.

The deadline for appointments is Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Rehearsals, held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Coshocton, will begin on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 6:30 p.m; the first concert is on April 27.

Auditions for the school-aged ensembles, the Coshocton Singers and the Coshocton Youth Chorale, will be held in mid-February.
