Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Evan M. Reidenbach has been named the Mount Gilead Post's 2024 Trooper of the Year.
According to a news release by Lt. C.L. Holloway from the Mount Gilead Post, Reidenbach's selection acknowledges his exemplary service throughout 2024 at the post. Fellow officers stationed at Mount Gilead selected the 27-year-old based on his leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.
The release states that Reidenbach joined the Highway Patrol in 2017 and has served at the Mount Gilead Post since then. He hails from Holmesville, Ohio, and is a graduate of Waynedale High School. In addition to this recognition, he has previously received a Traffic Safety Award in 2023 and a Health and Fitness Award.
Reidenbach resides in Knox County with his wife Megan and their child.
