Gary Wayne Stiltner, age 75, of Mount Gilead, Ohio, passed away on October 15, 2024.
He was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio on May 18, 1949, to the late Garland and Ada (Whited) Stiltner.
Gary loved helping others and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed classic vehicles, country music, "tinkering" with random projects and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
His laughter was infectious, and he was always quick with a joke or a word of encouragement.
Gary spent four years in the US Navy during Vietnam, aboard the U.S.S. Cowell, and worked as a long haul truck driver for over 30 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his sisters, Ruth (Paul) Noel and Carol (Don) O'Brien. Daughters Anna Frock, Crystal (Richard) Badham, Katherine Shahan, Donna (Philip) Meyer and Katelyn Walker; eight grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clifford Stiltner, Danny (Lily) Stiltner, and sister, Dorothy "Dottie" (Ershel) Vance.
