On Monday, January 29, 2024 deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbus Road on a possible suicidal female that had cut her wrist. Deputies were able to determine that no suicide attempt occurred and convinced the female to voluntarily go to the Knox Community Hospital to speak to a Behavioral Health Representative. 

A report was written for documentation.

On January 29, 2024 a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for speeding and an equipment violation. The driver stated his driver's license was suspended. The passenger was identified and arrested for an outstanding warrant from Hancock County. The driver was issued a citation for driving under suspension, speeding and the equipment violation.

The vehicle was impounded.
