Linda J. Coler, age 75, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on July 28, 1948, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel and Ada (Wagstaff) Sentel. Linda was a 1965 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and retired in 2010 from Kenyon College in Gambier.
Linda enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles, traveling, and playing slots at the casino.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years John Coler; niece and nephew, Terri and Jason Starr; great nieces and nephews, Johanna (Jon) Slomovitz, Luke (Heidi) Donaldson, Jaime (Johnathon) Hakes and five great great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother, Edwin “Butch” Sentel.
The family was observe a private service at a later date. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Linda J. Coler.
