Donald Eugene “Donut” Frey passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, in his home at the age of 61.
He was born on December 26, 1961, to parents Robert & Alice (Allerding) Frey in Loudonville, Ohio, and was the 27th grandchild out of 28 on the Allerding side of the family. Don attended Loudonville High School with the class of 1981.
Don had many jobs he worked locally in Loudonville throughout the years, and had recently been working for Auria Solutions out of Holmesville since 2004.
A man that never stopped moving, Don was always on the go. He loved to ride anything with wheels, whether is be his motorcycle, his unicycle, or his automatic bar stool. He also loved to watch sprint car races and tinkering on engines of all kinds. Don was always be remembered for hardworking, his story telling, and his pretty silver grin.
He is survived by his partner in life for 28 years Annette Howe; his step-sons Eric Howe and Bryan Davis; his 7 step-grandchildren, who referred to him as “papa Don”; his siblings Terry (Tim) Stockdale, Roberta (Dwain) Stitzlein, and Lynn (Pat) Frey; and several nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was be held for Don on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 4-6 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home- Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville. Please join the family afterwards at the Loudonville American Legion to Celebrate Don’s Life.
