Erlsten leads Northmor to sweep over Blue Devils

Danville (5-14, 2-9) hosted Northmor (11-8, 6-5) on Oct. 3 and the Golden Knights came to play in a dominant three set sweep over the Blue Devils.

Northmor won 25-18 and 25-17 in the first two sets, and then went on to crush the Blue Devils in the third set, 25-7.

Northmor was led by Layla Castle and Hannah James with seven kills each, and Maggie Brewer added six kills. Brewer added two blocks and 10 digs. Alison Sheriff and Lizzie Erlsten had five and four aces respectively, with Erlsten also setting 29 assists and recording 14 digs.

The Blue Devils had only seven total kills, with Zoey Neitzelt and Mykenzie Neitzelt with three each. Mykenzie Neitzelt had seven digs and Zoey Neitzelt added six digs. Hope Moore led the team with eight digs.
