GAMBIER – Randolph “Randy” Justice, 83, of Gambier, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Laurels of Mount Vernon surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Sept. 5, 1939, in Mt. Sterling, Ky., to the late Charles and Norma (Crum) Justice.
Randy enjoyed many years working for Kenyon College as a painter. His hobbies included gardening, golf, fishing and playing cards. He had a deep faith, which was exhibited in his love of family and friends. Randy will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Randy is survived by the love of his life, Bernie M. (Watts) Justice, to whom he was married on January 23, 1958; daughter, Vicki Justice; two sons, Randall Justice and James Marshall (Denise) Justice; grandchildren, Jess (Eric) Justice Barron and John (Jenn Youngless) James Justice; great-grandchildren, Kailee (Skyler Cartee) Barron, Carter Justice Barron and Izzy Justice Barron; great-great grandchild, Sage Barron; sisters, Betty Jo (Angelo) Bowling and Norma Jean (Richard) Gochnauer; a brother, Robert James (Nancy) Justice; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, from 2-3 p.m. at Snyder Funeral Home, Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.
