LEXINGTON – Cynthia Lynn “Cindy” Cordial, 54, of Lexington passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 31, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on Feb. 26, 1968, in Columbus to Betty (Knisley) Cordial and the late Larry D. Cordial.
Cindy enjoyed going to the beach, camping, traveling, cooking and hosting parties, but most of all, she loved being a MOTHER. She was the first and only female president of the Ohio Manufactured Homes Association and did this before she was 30 years old.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Bobby Rothgeb; her daughter, Jillian (Cody) Cordial-Rakoff of College Park, Maryland; her mother, Betty Cordial of Mount Vernon; her brother, Larry B. (Theresa) Cordial of Hebron; stepson, Griffin Rothgeb of Mount Vernon; stepdaughter, Delaney Rothgeb of Mount Vernon; niece, Samantha (Eric) Henry of Westerville; nephew, Parker (Siena) Cordial of Columbus; and a great nephew, Elliot Henry of Westerville.
In addition to her father, Cindy was preceded in death by her niece, Ashley Cordial; grandparents, Bob and Elsie “Lou” Montgomery; grandfather, Kenneth Knisley and grandmother, Lillian Rigas.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of a celebration of life service at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd., Mount Vernon. The family will observe a private burial in Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown.
