MOUNT VERNON – Roberta (Jeannie) Jean Walton Beach passed away on Dec. 1, 2022. Jeannie was born July 26, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Charles R. Walton and Virginia L. Wise Walton Kidwell.
Jeannie graduated from Mount Vernon Senior High School in 1969.
She is survived by a son, Tracy L. Beach, and a grandson, Anthony L. Beach; three sisters: Paula Walton, Peggy Lamb and Barbie Newton; and many well-loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased not only by her parents, but her beloved sister Becky Baldwin and two of her favorite brothers-in-law, Steven Baldwin and Michael Newton. Her generous spirit and quirky sense of humor will be sorely missed.
An Open House Commemorative Gathering will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 2-4pm, at the Hiawatha Village Apartments Community Center, 1000 Beech St., Mount Vernon.
