It’s hard to fathom
that it’s already
been a year since
you passed away.
The pain is
still so fresh,
our sadness
still lingers,
from the shadow
that death has
cast upon our
hearts and souls.
But the rising sun
shines a light
upon the way
that you lived.
Reminding us not
to mourn our loss,
but to celebrate
your spirit,
and the gift that
we all received
in knowing you.
Sadly missed by
your mother,
brother and sisters,
and nephews and niece
