Friday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. Recipe Exchange: The theme for this month is salads. Prepare a summer salad or your all-time favorite salad. Don’t forget to bring the recipe, too. We invite and encourage guests to join us and be taste testers (no experience required). No need to bring a dish; just come join us for good food and conversation. We always have plenty of food to share, and you might find a new recipe you like. Table service and drinks are provided.

Thursday, Aug. 11 and Aug. 25 at 5 p.m. Ukulele Association of Homer: This is a time for fellow ukulele players to meet for ukulele practice and to share their enthusiasm for this unique instrument in an informal setting. There will be an experienced ukulele player in attendance to offer lessons. The library has ukuleles for lending and all ages are welcome to attend.
