CENTERBURG – Shirley Ann Parker, 73, of Centerburg passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Shirley was born Aug. 7, 1948, in Mount Vernon to Richard H. and Helen L. {Temple} Erow.
She graduated from East Knox in 1967.
She married Roy E. Parker on Aug. 17, 1969. He passed away on Feb. 1, 2016.
Shirley worked for many years in the upholstery industry. She loved watching Roy and Bryan drag race, social media, and her cats and grandcats.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her son Bryan Parker; grandchildren Cindy (Cameron) Ferenbaugh, Kim Harris, and Samantha (Sean) Wheeler; many great-grandchildren; brothers Gary Erow, Mike Erow, and Jeff (Marianne) Erow; and many half-sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; brother Robert; and daughter-in-law Karen.
Friends may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home – Mount Vernon Chapel, Mount Vernon. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m.at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Crego officiating. Private burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
