MARCH 2022 COMING EVENTS

Tuesday, March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 9 a.m.: Stretch and Strengthening Class: This is a new year with a new opportunity. There will be a weekly exercise class focusing on stretching and strengthening exercises, many of which are done while sitting in a chair. The program is suitable for, but not exclusive to, seniors and those with limited physical abilities. Join us and do as many or as few exercises as you like. Call the library to register.

Wednesday, March 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 10 a.m.: Story Time with Miss Kathy. The story sessions will be divided into age groups this season to offer age-appropriate activities and more individual attention to the children. The divisions are not strict guidelines. You decide which group your child/children will attend. Miss Kathy will simply focus on specific ages as she selects stories, crafts, etc. There will be one theme throughout the month. The plan is to have a different age group each week of the month. The first week of each month: age 0-18 months (Baby Bookworms), second week of each month: age 18-36 months (Toddlers & Twos), third week of each month: age 3 (Thrilling Threes), and the fourth week of each month: 4 and up (Fabulous Fours & Fives). If you have more than one child, you are welcome to select any one group which works best or come multiple times each month. If you have any questions, please call the library or email kmegaw@seolibraries.org.

Thursday, March 3, from 3:30-6:30 p.m.: Crafting for all ages with Miss Lisa: Guests will use the Cricut to create a picture frame saying. Please call the library or stop by to register for the class.

Friday, March 4, at 11 a.m.: Recipe Exchange: Prepare a pot luck dish of your choice. Don't forget to bring the recipe, too. We invite and encourage guests to join us and be taste testers (no experience required). No need to bring a dish; just come join us for good food and conversation. We always have plenty of food to share and you might find a new recipe you like. Table service and drinks are provided.

Thursday, March 10 and 24 at 5 p.m.: Ukulele Association of Homer: This is a time for fellow ukulele players to meet for ukulele practice and to share their enthusiasm for this unique instrument in an informal setting. There will be an experienced ukulele player in attendance to offer lessons. The library has ukuleles for lending and all ages are welcome to attend.

Monday, March 14 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and 10:30 a.m.: Essential Oil Mingle: Join Rochelle Walters with Young Living Oils for a social gathering and guests will create their own vision board.
