Jersey Mike’s stores in Ohio will be raising money in March for the chain’s “Month of Giving” campaign to support the Special Olympics.

The company announced on Tuesday 82 of its Ohio stores would be partnering with the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, set for June 5-12 in Orlando.

In Mount Vernon, the store at 1421 Coshocton Ave. will participate. Find a full list of Ohio stores at jerseymikes.com/locations/OH?page=1

Throughout March, customers can make donations through the Jersey Mike’s mobile app or in-store. On Day of Giving, March 30, Jersey Mike’s restaurants  will donate their resources and every single dollar that comes in –  whether in-store, online or through the app – to the 2022 Special  Olympics USA Games and the local state programs attending the USA Games.

“Athletes will compete in 19 sports including athletics, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, basketball, flag football and many more,” the company said via a press release.

The company hopes to surpass last year’s record-breaking $15 million raised for charity. Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving has raised more than $47 million for local charities since it began in 2011.
