MOUNT VERNON – Julianna “Dolly” M. Mazzari, 78, formerly of Vienna, West Va., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at the Country Club Campus of Mount Vernon. Dolly was the daughter of the late Francis and Jean (Fiore) Storino.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Mazzari Jr., who she married on July 16, 1966; three wonderful sons, Joe (Lisa) Mazzari, Danville, John “Rocky” (Melissa) Mazzari, Clearwater, Fla., and Jamie Mazzari of Toledo; grandchildren, Kailea (Matt) Sparks, Drew (Chelsea) Mazzari, Kayla (Tyler) Bankson and Kody (Anna) Mazzari; great-grandchildren, Aiden Mazzari, Gracelyn Mazzari, Adley Sparks, Barrett Sparks, Rylan Bankson, Harper Bankson, Asher Mazzari, Atlas Mazzari and Rilee Mazzari; brothers, Francis (Chris) Storino and Tim (Marita) Storino; sister, Kitty Ranft; sister-in-law, Jolynn Mazzari; special friends Allan and Diana Bebee; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father in-law, Joseph and Mary Mazzari Sr.; brothers-in-law, Joe Ranft and Bob Mazzari; and sisters-in-law Eileen Willis, Donna Key, Patty Mazzari and Mary Margaret Mazzari.
Dolly was born and raised in Pittsburgh. She began dancing at a young age and even had the opportunity to dance on the Tony Grant Show in Atlantic City. After a few years of marriage and children, Dolly and Joe moved to Vienna, where Dolly was the long-time owner of Dolly’s School of Dance, sharing her passion with young and old alike. After a period of declining health, Dolly and Joe moved to Belvidere, Ill., with their son Rocky, most recently, Dolly and Joe made the move to the Country Club Retirement Campus in Mount Vernon near their son Joe.
