CENTERBURG – Well, our Heart of Ohio USA Days cruise in last Sunday was not as large as we would hope but that was expected. There was a steady flow of cars in and out all day. The very first group there with multiple cars was from Columbus, and they said they would be back.
Everyone understood the issues we had this year. The 50-50 drawing was won by Paul Bright of Pickerington. We also received monetary donations toward next year's show.
Thanks to Ann Weisent of Knox Foodies, who found us a last-minute food cart run by Angie Misner, and to Jack and Marylee Kent with their delicious ice cream concoctions. The cars were all beautiful, and the weather was just perfect. We did not get the 90 degrees predicted, and the breeze was strong and cool all day.
We hope to be back in full force next year "if the good Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise" (literally). Thank you to all who took part. We appreciate you. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said, "We'll be back." To see more photos, go to the Heart of Ohio USA Days Car Show Facebook page.
