HOMER – Home Public Library, located at 385 South St. in Homer, has released the following calendar events for the month of August.

Thursdays, Aug. 5 and 12, 3 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. – Makerspace Open Play and Create: Programming is open to all school age children to learn how to create with the 3D printers, Circuit craft machine, snap circuits and more. 

Thursdays, Aug. 12 and 26, 5 p.m. – Ukulele Association of Homer: This is a time for fellow ukulele players to meet for ukulele practice and to share their enthusiasm for this unique instrument in an informal setting. There will be an experienced ukulele player in attendance to offer lessons. The library has ukuleles for lending, and all ages are welcome to attend. 

Friday, Aug. 27, 11 a.m. – Book Club: The book selection this month is “The Guest List” by Lucy Foley.  Reserve your copy by calling or stopping by the library. Join us for an informal, interesting and lively discussion.
