MOUNT VERNON – Pauline Evelyn Daily, 95, of Mount Vernon, died on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Country Court Skilled Nursing Center in Mount Vernon. She was born on Sept. 13, 1925, in Mount Vernon to Herbert and Gladys (Wilson) Grossnickle.
Pauline was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School.
She married Ralph E. Daily on March 27, 1948. He passed away on Sept. 7, 2007.
Pauline was a member of First Christian Church and Ohio Eastern Star Knox County #236. She loved sewing, crafts and reading, but especially spoiling her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pauline will be deeply missed by her children, Robert (Terri) Daily of Harrison and Mary Jo (Kelly) Robson of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Jason Daily, Kristen (Dave) Kemen, Billy (Shannon) Levering, Joe (Jessica) Levering, Mandy (Allan) Williams and Chris (Rebecca) Robson; and great-grandchildren Trey, Grace, Grady, Gwen, Franky, Cassius and Carter.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; daughter, Marsha Kay Daily; and siblings, Lewayne Swingley and Patricia Nicholls.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel in Mount Vernon. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Reed officiating. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
