CENTERBURG – The Heart of Ohio USA Days announce this year’s contestants for Little Miss Liberty and Little Uncle Sammy.
The children must be ages four to six, and they gather “votes” at one cent per vote. The girl and boy with the largest collected amounts win the titles. The funds go back into the festival so that the committee can continue to provide this fun family event at no admission- or parking charge.
This year’s Little Miss Liberty entrants are Sophia Grace Lang, four-year-old daughter of Larissa Etue and Justin Lang of Centerburg; Laura Burke, five-year-old daughter of Amy and Adam Burke of Centerburg; Madelynn Frazier, six-year-old daughter of Sabrina and Brady Silliman of Centerburg; Teagan Patterson, six-year-old daughter of Meghan and Jared Patterson of Centerburg; Presley Kroninger, five-year-old daughter of Brandon and Julie Kroninger of Centerburg; Ryann White, six-year-old daughter of Kaitlin and Josh White of Centerburg; and Shelly Clarke, six-year-old daughter of Josh and Becky Clark of Croton.
Uncle Sammy contestants are Owen Robbins, four-year-old son of Cheyann and James Robbins of Fredericktown; and Parker Penman, five-year-old son of Jeff and Erin Penman of Centerburg.
The pageant will be held the opening night of the festival, Thursday, June 24, at 7 p.m. on stage. 2019 winners Rylee O’Bryan and Jaxson Stewart will crown the new winners. All entrants receive gift bags, with the winners also getting the tiara and Uncle Sam hat provided by Tradye Machine and Tool and the festival committee.
