SPARTA – Bob and Betty Sheets of Sparta celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

On May 20, 1961, Betty Whitt and Bob Sheets were united in marriage at the Sparta Methodist Church. 

Bob has spent his career of 42 years at PPG, Grumman Flxible and AMG.

Betty spent her career of 45 years at Country View Nursing Home.

Together the couple raised two children, Clay Sheets of Sparta and Donna (Brad) Price of Gambier.
