MOUNT VERNON – The Kokosing Valley Jr. Anglers Youth Fishing Club is bringing a long-awaited idea to fruition this year: a Kokosing River Kayak Fishing Tournament. 

The event, named the Kokosing Yak and Cast for Bass, will be held on Saturday, April 24. 

Anglers of all ages may participate, but those under 18 must have parental guidance. The deadline to register is Friday, April 23. Registration and payment of the $36 entry fee must be made through Fish Donkey at this link: tourney.fishdonkey.com/#/login/?redirect=~2Ftournament~2F6619~2Fdetails.
