MOUNT VERNON – Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Delilah C. (Conley) Winstead, born in Columbus on June 18, 1953, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on March 11, 2021.

Delilah had a heart of gold, she loved fiercely and would do anything possible for her family. She struggled through many years with severe medical issues but fought to be present for her family, combined with the strength of her belief of Jesus. She was a Westerville High School graduate of 1971.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Paul Winstead Jr.; daughter, Sarah (Brian) Mickley; son, Joe Winstead; granddaughters, Brittany (John) Yeargan and Bridget Mickley; great-grandchildren, Weston, Fenleigh and Ellie Yeargan; mother, Eula Faye Gibson; sisters, Ellen (Pat) Chapman, Linda Evanshine and Pam (Wayne) Gibson; half brother, Chad Gibson; sister-in-law, Paulette Winstead; and multiple nieces, nephews and friends.

Delilah was preceded in death by nephews, Joshua Evanshine and Monte Gibson; her father, Delbert Conley; grandparents, Ellis and Minta Conley, and Edgar and Lucy Blanton; in-laws, Paul and Delores Winstead; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Barbara Winstead; and Joan Ramey.
