Knox Public Health has posted a notice on vaccine availability that will be updated regularly as conditions change. Currently, the Health Department is accepting vaccine requests from the Phase 1a group: health care personnel who work directly with COVID-19 patients; emergency medical service workers; and congregate care sites such as long term care, assisted living, group homes and home health.

PLMVKC's Teen Writing Program continues its partnership with Breakbread Literacy Project to offer a series of virtual linked writing workshops for young creatives, starting with Poetry with Crystal AC Salas. Each workshop will have two sessions: a generative workshop where participants meet a guest author and complete a writing prompt; and a peer workshop where participants get feedback from the workshop group. TWP is free and open to young writers age 13-19 in grades 7-12. All are welcome! Registration is required.
