MARTINSBURG – Marlene Cella, 86, of Martinsburg, passed away on Oct. 16, 2020, at the Knox Community Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on Aug. 30, 1934, in Martinsburg, to Dale and Martha (Higgins) Wolfe.

Marlene was a member of the Millwood Church of Christ. She was always on the go and was sometimes called “Hot Wheels.” She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crafts. She was known for her sewing and crocheting but, most importantly, Marlene enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by four sons; Michael (Loris) Cella of Martinsburg, Patrick (Gina) Cella of Bellville, Matthew (Marie) Cella of Mount Vernon and Andrew (Becky) Cella of Johnstown; two daughters; Kathleen (Chuck) Reamsnider of Apple Creek and Nita (Jeff) Conner of Fredericktown; 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cella (2014); a great-granddaughter, Addison Getter; two brothers, Milo and John Wolfe; and one daughter-in-law, Anita Cella.

Friends may call on Friday, Oct. 23, at the Lasater Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. in Martinsburg Cemetery on Route 62, with Evangelist Dave Jones officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Marlene's memory to the Millwood Church of Christ.
