The Utica boys track team raced its way to the top, finishing in first place at The Hux Invitational.

The Utica boys’ basketball team is returning a solid core of players this season after finishing 15-9 with a 4-7 record in the Licking County- Cardinal Division, and Coach Brian Radabaugh expects his team’s athleticism to propel the team to victory.

The Utica football team is looking for a major rebound after a difficult 2021 campaign.

Local high school baseball players who want to showcase their skills for potential college recruitment, will have the opportunity to perform at the 2022 Licking Knox Baseball Showcase. For any player in the 2022, 2023 or 2024 graduating classes or players in the transfer portal, registration will be held Tuesday, June 28 at Utica American Legion Field – rain location is The Clubhouse in Newark, Ohio.

The second annual Tom Craze All-Star game will take place Monday, June 13 at Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Cougar Field. The game is set to honor Tom Craze, the former Fredericktown coach who passed away suddenly, a few days before Christmas in 2019, and a short time before he was about to begin his new adventure as varsity baseball coach at Logan High School.
