The following legislation was passed by Mount Vernon City Council on December 13, 2021, signed by Bruce E. Hawkins, President of Council, approved by Matthew T. Starr, Mayor, attested by Todd Hill, Clerk of Council.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Michael K. Banning, 74, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 21, with Fr. David Sizemore as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Autumn Hyder (Ridenbaugh), 51, of Stow, born in Mount Vernon, on Oct. 4, 1970, passed away on Dec. 11, 2021.
